Hotter than a rat in a-

Tim, you're probably the only one that reads the blog that could finish that sentence. To the rest of you, if you don't know the ending, please don't ask me to tell you :)

Speaking of hot. It is scortching hot here. We got back from the park a little bit ago and I seriously thought I was going to have a heat stroke. Either that, or I was having a hot flash. Yes, I said, "hot flash." It is a very real thing for me on the days- the sweat pouring from every pore that I never knew existed and you can't get away from it once it comes on. It's the strangest feeling. My mom introduced me to Deborah's Collection Wild Yam Cream, that I use twice daily.

The only days that I have had hot flashes have been the days that I have forgotten to put it on in the morning. In my last attempt down the endometriosis diagnosis road, my doctor and I decided that I would do a round of Lupron shots- two shots, that last 3 months each. One of the main down sides to it is that it sends you into a "controlled" menopause. So that's a pretty bad down side, but if you don't count the total of 3 hot flashes I've had since the shot, I'm doing wonderfully. In fact, I haven't felt this good, in 4 years (if you don't count being pregnant and nursing that ceased the endo). I'm so happy that I did this, and so far, it's been one of the best decisions I've made for myself. For those of you who are much older than me :) and are going through menopause, I urge you to start using Wild Yam Cream. It's a miracle in a jar, I tell ya!

Changing the subject- here are some pictures that I hadn't posted yet!

Tim and the boys the day before he left for TX. I love this one!

Fount loves Holden's cars and airplanes. Whenever I get this out for him, he wants to sit in the box. I keep trying to get him to play with cute baby toys, but he doesn't pay them any mind.

Last week while my mom was here, I had the most special day. Holden and I spent the entire day together. We drove into DC and went to the zoo, which is amazing and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. We had so much fun together!

We also went to Air and Space. What's a trip into the city without it? Holden was so excited. The Wright Brothers is always his favorite part.

So glad the shot has been good for you!

The zoo looks great. We are actually heading back to the zoo next week too! :)
