8 months

Two tiny chompers and counting! This weekend our fuzzy blonde, butter bean, Samuel Fount turned 8 months old. Every day that passes, Fount becomes less and less of a baby. I knew it would happen, I just wasn't expecting it to happen so fast. I guess that's what happens when the second child wants to do everything and be everywhere his older sibling is.

Nothing stops this little guy- no fall or donk of the head can get him down. He just keeps on. Wonder if that's any insight to the kind of man he will become...Even at his young age, he's very obedient and often jumps with surprise when we catch him eating a shoe. He's not as sensitive as Holden was, but tenderhearted, none the less. He can poke out his lip farther than I ever thought possible and when he does, it's sure to break your heart. Whenever we would tell Holden "no," he would quickly tear up, but most of the time, Fount just goes on about his day and finds something else to do. Easy going.

He loves the camera and as soon as he sees it, he starts grinning from ear to ear. So we take a lot of pictures, of course :)

He's been crawling for quite some time now, and this passed month, he started pulling up to anything he can and has even started cruising. He shouldn't be doing this already! Slow down!

Last Wednesday was Fount's very first night in his crib. He's been in his own room for quite some time now, just in a pack-in-play, after outgrowing his cradle. Since buying our house, we decided it was the right time to get Holden a big boy bed, which meant, Fount was finally getting the crib. He's slept great in it every night. I think he's enjoying his cowboy room- my salute to TX :) (Pictures are soon to follow with the boys new rooms.)

This weekend he started making the "kiss" sound whenever we would blow him a kiss. It's terribly cute.

He's so incredibly sweet!
