Snow!

Yesterday afternoon.

It had just been snowing an hour! Doesn't it look like a winter wonderland?

This morning, from our front door

Yesterday morning we woke up to a tiny bit of snow. Then, yesterday afternoon, we got rain, then sleet, then rain, then heavy, thick snow. It took Tim over 2 hours to get home from work. I heard, this morning, that it took some people 12 HOURS to get home. Craziness! Tim started shoveling after dinner last night, went back after the boys went to bed, and then again this morning. Doesn't our sidewalk look nice :) Thank you, Tim! I heard the snowplow come through early early this morning, so that made a big difference on our street. Thankfully, Tim made it to work this morning. I think it took him close to an hour and a half. He said the roads weren't great. So far, this morning, he's the only one on our street, that I can see, that's made it out.

Holden's already begging for snow ice cream and to play in it, of course! It's so thick in the back, that I don't know how safe it is for me to get out in it without falling. I think I may wait until Tim gets home.

Fount has been so fussy for the past 2-3 days. He's cutting two top teeth! And he seems pretty miserable. Yesterday he only took a 30 minute nap, which doesn't compare to the normal 2 1/2 hour nap he usually takes. He woke up 3 times last night- once needed his blanket, then some orajel, then some tylenol. It's weird not to use Hyland's teething tablets anymore. If I had some in the house, I would be pretty tempted to use them...Who am I kidding? I would use them and just not tell anyone :) I sure hope they bust through soon.

Wish I could post more pictures, but until we can find or buy a new camera charger, my phone will have to do. Who knows were our charger is...We haven't seen it since we were in TX and no one there has been able to locate it, so I'm sure it's here hidden away somewhere.

We're in the middle of redoing the dinner room and I'm really loving it. It's starting to look more adult. Here are some pictures of Tim's masterpiece-

This isn't the finished product, by any means, but here's what we have so far...

I've already moved things around since I took this. (Please excuse the clothes drying...)

I plan on displaying my china on the top shelves, and the bottom shelves will have the kids stuff- surely to be in baskets! But those will have to wait until the weather gets a little nicer.
