Rejuvinated

It's late and I should be in bed, but I feel so rejuvinated from all my weekend organizing that I keep thinking of more things that I could do. I don't know about you, but having a clean house just makes me feel good. Before I had kids, I wasn't as concerned as I am now about having safe cleaners around. But when I had Holden, I switched from the hard stuff and started using Greenworks and something I get from Target...why can't I remember the name of it?...Anyway, it's great and it smells terrific- not cleaner-like, which makes it even better. I'm not a stickler about green things. I'm still known to use a little Windex from time to time (I know, I'm terrible), but, mainly, I stick with a mixture of water and vinegar and it works great, plus it comes guilt free :)

I found this neat storage solution at The Container Store and I love it. I totally helps keep my cleaning supplies handy and clutter-free.

I've also decluttered my cleaning supplies and am down to the basics. Makes every thing so much easier, especially since we have a two story home. To make cleaning easier, I've divided up my cleaning supplies in each bathroom, complete with old dish towels so that I don't have to wag around the products--super handy! Speaking of- I adore using ratty dish towels and old shirts to clean with. A few years ago, I was using paper towels like mad and I started to feel bad about it...you know, the environment and all, so I completely cut them out. It's surprisingly, not been too hard, except when we have company over and you see them frantically looking for a paper towel. They always feel guilty using cloth napkins, but it's one of my favorite things, so I don't mind the extra washing. What have you cut out to try to be more environmentally conscious?
