Tuesday was the very first day of our homeschool co-op. We were all very excited about "going to school" :)

Brother Fount went to a preschool class...

And Holden went to a kinder class. His class was absolutely what I had been praying for. There are 2 girls in his class and 3 boys, not including Holden. They all seem pretty laid back and out going. A bunch of sweetie pies!

Miss Sadie Jane tagged along and "helped" me in each of their classes.

This was the kids waiting in Holden's class as I set up. Fount was talking to a girl in Holden's class while I took this picture. I won't be surprised, someday, if he marries someone older than him :)

Here is Holden giving his very first presentation to the class. It was- "Share your favorite thing" and Holden shared his George Washington hand-painted soldier. He said, "My soldier is my favorite because I bought it with my own money." He did such a great job!

In science, they have journals where they write down/draw their observations. This was on evaporation and condensation. So cute!

I wasn't in Fount's class much this first day. There are a total of 10 kids in his class, so you can imagine the atmosphere :) Crazy! Anyway, I was unable to snap any pictures of just him. I'll try to get some this next week. I was so proud of him. Several of the moms came up to me and told me how Fount was answering all the questions and how advanced he was- I know :)
Afterwards, we decided that we needed some ice cream. It was super hot outside and they deserved it!

We're looking forward to next week! We'll be studying the Earth.
