Changes ahead for Le Roux
We were lucky enough to have Tim at home with us for an extra long weekend. He had to go into work late Thursday night, so he slept in on Friday and spent the day at home. It was so great!
With Sadie still needing to recover from her virus, we kept her at home this weekend. She seems to be back to her normal spunky self today.
She even pooped in the potty! So exciting! She told me she needed to go, by saying, "Bow Bow," and brought me into the bathroom with her. She was even dry! I guess we'll be making a Target trip soon to get her princess panties :) I can hardly believe it!
On Saturday, Tim took the boys to The American History Museum. The boys really needed to get out and shake their crazies out. With Sadie having been sick for an entire week, they haven't gotten out much. I feel so bad about that. So getting to run around the mall, ride the metro, and tour the museum with Daddy was absolutely perfect!
Don't they look so big here?...This next week, we're going to be playing catch up in school. We're already halfway through the preschool program. Holdie's doing so great! Even the littles are picking things up!
After talking to Tim, I've decided to start writing another blog, keeping this one private and up to date on the children and our little life for family and friends, of course. I'm feeling the desire to write more in depth about our homeschool experience, making my new blog a little different, especially since it will be open to the public. The new blog will be focused on homeschool, our ever-changing decor, but mostly about how God called on me to teach my children and how I'm learning from Him how to do the best job I can at this, while still running a household. I am very excited!
