Tomorrow, tomorrow

 

Sadie's having her ear tube surgery tomorrow. I keep hoping that I'll get a call today telling me that they're moving her surgery time up...She can't eat anything after midnight, which I know is standard. She can have clear liquids up until 3 hours before her surgery, but her surgery isn't until 1pm, so she's going to be starving and, I assume, fussy. We need to arrive at 11am to get her all set up. In the meantime, Tim will be working that morning and I'll somehow have to separate the kids while the boys eat their breakfast. I have a choking fear, so I want to be able to watch them. I'll think of something...I just don't know how Sadie is going to react to not being able to eat anything for that long, since she won't understand. It'll be interesting.

 

With the details being a little less than perfect, what is perfect is that Sadie will feel better after this is all said and done and I am also so thankful that the pediatric ENT at Georgetown was able to get us in so soon.
