On October 28th, Tim will be running his very first marathon, the Marine Corps Marathon. He will be running for Jill's House and the money he raises will go to benefit this very special organization. Jill's House provides care and support to children with special needs and their families through overnight respite care; a much-needed ministry to these families. Although we're not a family of special needs children, Jill's House holds a very special place in our hearts. When I was pregnant with Sadie, we were told that she could have down syndrome. On a routine sonogram, the sonogram where we found out that we were having a girl, they found that she had an echogenic bowel, which is a marker for down syndrome. Against encouragement from a genetic counselor, we decided against all further testing and went with prayer instead. God was faithful to hear our cry. Sadie was born completely healthy, free of any signs of an echogenic bowel. Praise Jesus!
Please consider supporting Jill's house as my husband, Tim, prepares to run the Marine Corps Marathon. We really appreciate it!
Thank you for considering a donation!
