In preparation of Davy's 226th birthday, Holden and I baked yummy g-free brownies while the littles napped.
He has a love for cooking!

2 years ago, 2 days ago on August 15, 2010, we opened the box of the very first printed copies of Tim's book, We Volunteered. I can hardly believe it's been that long! Not only did he write a book, but since then he has been interviewed by The Washington Post, who wrote an extensive article on the book, he's written an article in American Heritage Magazine, and has just recently been contacted by a Japanese publishing company, asking permission to put his AHM article in a text book, which will be in 20-25% of Japanese schools by the year 2015. What a journey!
August 15, 2010 was also the day we found out that we were pregnant with Sadie.
We were shocked out of our minds.
What a day we will never forget!
I'm pretty sure I have throw up on my shirt...
