Red

Ta Da!

The chairs are candy apple red and, in person, look less orangey.

I really love the red. We have a lot of red in our house. I can't help it. It's a fun color!

I still need to add a couple of coats, so don't look too close- (you'll see all the imperfections), but for now, I like it just fine. I actually enjoy eating in our dining room even more now!

The weather was so nice yesterday- warm, but nice. It felt good to get out and do a little gardening. The roses were weighing down the bush, so I decided to cut them and make bouquets for our house. After filling 3 vases to perfection, I noticed teeny tiny worms all over them. Ugh! Tim mentioned spraying them with a dishwashing liquid and water solution to get rid of the worms. Hopefully that will work and we'll actually be able to display our beautiful roses inside. For now, I'll just enjoy them outside.

I put too much plant food in the water, hence the blue. Aren't the roses pretty?

They looked so nice on our table. Too bad they got the boot!

Yesterday, as I was cutting the roses, I said, "Holden, aren't the roses beautiful?"

And he said, with a huge grin, "They're beautiful, just like you, Mommy!"

He sure is good for the self-esteem :)
