Here marks a new tradition
This has become our spot.
Our special spot to eat ice cream.
And we soon found out, we cannot eat it in any other place.
Here he waits for his cone.
Has it been two weeks already? Almost! Holden's really gotten settled in his new big boy room. I can't wait to post "the finished product" but I'm just waiting on a lamp and a picture or two that needs to be hung. When I walk up the stairs and see it, I still can't believe that it's not his nursery anymore. It's bittersweet. Here are a few of the first night- he was so proud!
About two nights into it, Tim and I were downstairs watching our new addiction- LOST (Which by the way, is the best show ever. The Office is still my fav....but LOST.... oh no.... I think it may be my favorite now....) and we heard a loud "thud" above our heads. When I ran upstairs, sure to find Holden shooken up and in tears, I found him asleep on the floor, airplane still in hand. Thank goodness. After that we put up a rail and that's helped keep him on the bed.
I thought it would be fun to let him pick out his own bedding, but whenever he went for "Toy Story" at Walmart, I thought Mama would have to nudge his choice, so we went to Pottery Barn Kids. I thought that would be pretty safe to let him pick out something there. But when he ran up to Star Wars, I had to swoop in and give him options, of course :) I He ended up picking Madras, which I think will be pretty timeless.
