Tomorrow

Tomorrow is Holden's surgery. It seems like it really snuck up on his. We've been waiting to talk to him about it, until today, as to not worry him. Though it's not a major surgery, it sure feels major to us, since it's our baby. Holden will be having a freckle removed. We first noticed the freckle when he was around a year old- a tiny dot on the part of his hair- so sweet, since it was one of two (the other on the top of his foot). Around his second birthday, the freckle quickly changed in size and shape. Since I've had to have some things removed by the dermatologist, we quickly made him an appointment. Once we saw the doctor, she said that it was probably nothing to worry about, but just to be on the safe side, she wanted us to see a pediatric surgeon to have it removed. His surgery is at 10am. He'll be put to sleep with gas, then given an IV (thank goodness it's in that order), and the procedure should only take about 30 minutes. A sweet friend of mine will be watching Fount tomorrow, so it'll be nice to be able to completely focus on Holden and give him our undivided attention. Please pray for our little guy, that God will give him peaceful spirit tomorrow morning, and that we'll be able to be with him as he's going to sleep.

I'll keep you updated!

Thanks, Steph. I've been praying for Porter. How is he? I'm so sorry I haven't emailed you back. You've been on my mind, daily. Much love your way!
