It seems like every year we've been married, something major has happened in our lives. I'm so blessed to go through all the changes with Tim right by my side.
Year One
May 2006
We spent our anniversary in DC, NYC, & Boston doing a round of job interviews. And we had a blast!
Boston Common
This was Tim's first time to the beach. It was absolutely freezing and we were totally not prepared for the chilly weather.
New York
After our first anniversary, Tim got a job at Children's National and we headed to DC- crazy! Who would've thought we'd love it so much that we'd stay?
May 2007
On our first trip back to TX, since our move, we carried a very wonderful surprise...we were pregnant! We shared the big news at a family dinner the next day. The week before, Tim started a new job at Georgetown University Hospital and soon after that, we packed up our tiny studio and moved to the burbs.
our last family of two picture...I was very happy... epidurals are incredible :)
And on December 9, 2007, Holden Carl joined our family.
Year Three...
Was spent taking tons and tons of pictures :) and enjoying our baby Holden to the fullest! He turned one this year...Hard to believe.
May 2008
Year Four
May 2009
Isn't it beautiful? This is where we spent our annivesary- Virginia Beach. It was so much fun watching Holden dig in the sand and splash around in the ocean. It was his first, of many, beach vacations! He adores the water.
In February of 2009, we found out that Holden was going to be a big brother, which prompted another move, just a little further outside of the city. We were cutting it close. We unpacked the first box in our new place just 3 weeks before the new baby arrived.
Fount was born on October 19, 2009
And we couldn't be happier with our controlled chaos! I never had a brother, so I'm learning about boys along the way, and now that I have two boys, it's even more fun. I'm learning that they are easy to please. Holden's happy to play with a stick for days and can turn it into anythingand Fount is happy just to watch him. Their imaginations are endless.
Not long after Fount was born, we became minivan people. Like I said, there have been many changes :)
Christmas Eve
Year Five
It's here! Looking back through all the old photos, sweet memories flood my heart.
This year, for our anniversary, we are not only celebrating our family together, but we're also celebrating the upcoming settlement date of the purchase of our home. Woo Hoo! I'm feeling more like we're grown-ups now.
Thank you, Tim for our lovely, loving life.
