Our lovely weekend

On Friday, Holden and I made a tent under the dining room table. I remember doing that when I was little. So much fun! It's one of his favorite things to do. I think he likes the secretiveness of it all. That same day, we got a package from my mom that included several of my old stuffed animal toys. Holden wanted them all huddled around him. It was really sweet!

Here are the boys on Saturday morning. This captures their personalities right now. Fount is just as much of an observer as Holden was at this age.

Saturday afternoon Tim and Holden played with his art supplies. I think Holden colored more in himself than on the construction paper.

And to top off the weekend, on Sunday, Holden pooped in the potty for the very first time. And he got two miniture reeses for doing so. The only reason that happened is because I had told him earlier in the day that if he pooped in the potty, he could have 2 reeses candies. Little did I know that I was actually going to have to follow through minutes before bedtime. What a way to send a toddler off to bed- on a sugar high! It was so exciting! Tim was doing bathroom duty at the time and when he told me, I couldn't believe I actually said the words, "Don't flush it yet! I want to see it!" What an accomplishment!

I have always said you will be surprised about what comes out of a toddlers mouth, but now add and mom's too :)
YEA for Holden!
