Soon

It's been a hard couple of weeks for us Ruses. First Tim was sick- now Holden and I are fighting the cough, sore throat, congestion, and fever. Yuck. Tim's been amazing, though, taking care of both Holden and I. This is the first time Holden's been really sick and it couldn't be more sad. The cough seems so much bigger than him... I'm praying that it will quickly run it's course, considering the dr didn't give him any medication. Don't you hate going to the dr, spending an hour there, only for them to tell you "it just needs to run it's course...." If that's all it takes to be a pediatrician, then maybe I should start of my own practice. Sounds easy ;) I'm just hoping we both start feeling better soon. Our big move is coming up on Friday. I wish I could say that we're all packed, but we're not. Hopefully I'll be able to put a dent into the necessities after Holden goes to bed tonight. I never realized how many breakable things we owned. Part of me just wants to put it all in a box and just cross my fingers that nothing shatters. Packing material is expensive.

I had an appointment today, as I am now at 35 weeks. Yay! All along we've known that the baby was on the small side, but after this appointment, the dr said she wanted me to have another ultrasound to check on him bc he's feeling out on the tiny side and I lost weight this time around. If she thinks he's still small, then we'll talk about delivering him around week 37 or week 38. We're so anxious to meet him, but also want him to be able to "cook" just as long as he needs to. Our ultrasound is scheduled for this Thursday, so we should know something soon.

It's terrible when you are sick. Especially when your little one is sick! I hope that the Ruse family gets healthy soon. I know you will need all your energy for the big move and then later having to unpack everything.

Let us know how the sonogram goes on Thursday! I will be praying that baby boy Ruse stays in your belly as long as he needs to. He's just probably ready to meet his parents and big brother... :)
