I forgot to mention earlier in my blogging that Holden has been sitting up with zero assistance since a few days after his 6 month birthday. Where has the time gone?... Now he likes to scoot and roll around and around on the floor. He's surprisingly very quick, so no more quick trips to the bathroom while he lays on his quilt!
The older he's gotten, the more apparent it is to Tim and I that we have a tender-hearted guy on our hands. Holden is sweet, cuddly, sensitive, and already seems to have a good sense of humor, which is important in this household. When I was pregnant with him, I prayed for Holden to be kind and to have a tender heart. Let me tell you-- God is faithful! Lately, when I'm holding him and he is drifting off to sleep, I look down at him and I am quickly reminded of the blessing the Lord has given Tim and I--the sheer honor of raising a man of God. A friend. A husband. A provider. A protector.
"Children are God's apostles, day by day sent forth to preach of love, and hope, and peace." James Russel Lowell
