After three days of trying the sippy cup, I have come to the realization that this new endeavor is going to be a challenging one. You see, Holden prefers "the tap." I told him today, "Only 6 more months of this, little buddy." And he just looked up at me and smiled. (He has no idea...) I've tried disguising the water with apple juice. I tried it and it was pretty tastey. But it's not the juice or the water. He's just not interested. I tried to tell him that kids are suppose to love juice--again, he just looked up at me and smiled. (He has no idea...) For now, I guess he can just continue to suck his recommended 2-3 ounces from his washcloth at bath time, like he prefers, and we'll just keep on trying the sippy cup. And one day when he's thirsty he'll surprise us!
