Aren't they adorable? This is right after Fount got his Cubby vest. He actually missed the cut off for registration. He was just two weeks shy of being 3, at the time. So, at first, he wasn't able to join. One Sunday, Tim needed to take Fount with him and, to our surprise, he ended up saying his verses! Needless to say, they were sweet enough to make an exception. So far, he is doing really well and is able to keep up with Holden.

We are so appreciative that we live in such a beautiful place. Tim and I really notice it. I think we are conscious not to take it for granted. When we get out in the country, everywhere we look is a beautiful picture, worthy of taking in and remembering. A lot like this one ;)

There is so much to see her in Northern VA. All of the Battlefields offer so much history. Some of it, almost frozen in time.
I hope the kids always remember these days.
