Thinking back

October 5th. Our last sonogram picture of baby Fount.

Since this is Fount's birthday week, I've been thinking a lot about what the week before October 19, 2009 was like. I think this is one of our last family of 3 pictures, taken @ Cox Farms. I kept having Braxton Hicks and I thought Fount was going to fall out. The chili didn't help.

Tim's mom, Alice, was here with us the week before Fount was born, in case I went into labor. She took this the day before I went into labor.

 

Alice took a ton of pictures of Holden and I in that rocking chair. For a long time, I would look at that picture and think about what a special time that was and I always will, but along with that, my double chin, and haircut mistake, I see just how close Holden was to meeting his very best friend in the whole world.
