The show must go on

Despite a touch of crankiness all around, we'll be starting back to school today. Later than usual, but the boys needed a slower pace this morning, so we're going with it. I guess that's one of the perks about homeschooling, we have flexibility when sickness plagues us. This all began on Thursday, with Sadie and then hit the boys early on Sunday morning. Last night, all three got a good night's rest and woke up fever-free. Tim and I have been lucky enough to have stayed well. He said it's probably because we don't pick and eat our boogers :) and of course all the prayers!

I have such a wonderful husband. He brought home comfort food yesterday...Is he a mind reader? We had our fav, chips and queso, at dinner. Ahhh. It really hit the Southern spot in my tummy.

Holden's been blowing through his workbook, so since we're ahead, I think we're going to spend more time today cuddling up with our readings, which is always very special.

I love our verse for this week:

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

Isn't it funny how doubting and questioning we as adults are? For a child, everything is so black and white. They just believe because they believe and that's the way it is. There is no question. I think they might teach me a lot this week.
