I think I begin by telling everyone: WE ARE NOT PREGNANT :) But I do have some pretty major news for the Ruse family.
Drum roll, please....
We will be homeschooling Holden, beginning this year with preschool. I know, I know. It's an incredibly big step to take, especially since Tim and I have been guilty of some serious smack :) But I'm actually seeing it as a blessing. We are now doing something that is very stereotyped and we are very aware of every one's opinion, the different styles that are out there...But I have to say, I have never felt a greater peace, nor have I ever been more sure that we are right in step with God's direction for our family. And for that, I am very excited.
Our curriculum from Sonlight arrived today, so I've been setting up our dining room bookshelves, which will serve as our homeschool room. I'm going for the basket look. Once it's complete, I'll post pictures.
You'll soon notice the blog change as a lot of my posts will be documenting what we're learning that week.
Holden's anxious to study the presidents. I'm not sure that falls into the preschool curriculum guide, but we're putting it as an extra in our World Studies subject.
