The weather has been absolutely incredible lately.

 

 

So we spent the an evening playing in the water in the backyard.

 

 

The kids had a blast!

I think some little girl is overdue for a pedi...

and she deserves it too.

She woke up early yesterday morning crying. I could feel the heat radiating from her before I even picked her up. I couldn't get her fever to break until about 1:30pm yesterday and then it only stayed down for a little bit. We were able to get her into the doctor at 4pm  and didn't get out of there until after 6pm. Her white blood cell count was extrememly high, she was shaking, in and out of sleep, and crying. They needed to take her blood :( She was dehydrated...Needless to say, they had a difficult time sticking her. The doctor had to come in and draw her blood, but still had difficulty. It was terrible. Today her arms look awful. She ended up getting two antibiotic shots to aggressively attack whatever is causing her to feel so bad. She had just as rough of a night. Her fever comes and goes...We go back into the doctor this afternoon for more bloodwork. Hopefully the shots helped. Wish me luck. I'll have Mr. Emmpathetic and Mr. Protector with me at the appointment :)
