Yesterday was our normal doctor appointment, along with another sonogram. The 4D pictures have, most definitely, been one of the perks about having so many sonograms. She just keeps getting more and more beautiful! We came out of the appointment with 5 pictures of our little angel!
Here she is!
foot resting on her face
the wrinkle on the right is as she was moving her foot away from her face
Aren't those lips incredible?
She's going to be a lipstick-wearing girl, for sure!
Yesterday ended up being the last time we'll get to see her, until her big arrival. My doctor doesn't think any more sonograms are needed, and as much as I love seeing Sadie on the screen, I was so happy to hear that we weren't going to need anymore.
Tuesday night was nutso. Not only was Holden deciding that he'd rather run laps in the hall, instead of staying in his bed, therefore, we were in boot camp mode, but I started getting contractions. Perfect timing, right? They ended up lasting the entire night- even developing an "every six minutes, for an hour pattern." But after being in real labor, twice already, I kept waiting for that, "I'm about to say a bad word" kind of feeling and I never got there. Eventually, by morning, the contractions tappered off little by little, until they were gone almost completely.
According to my doctor, the night of contractions only caused me to dilate 1cm. When she checked me, she was able to touch Sadie's head, which really startled our girl! As of now, I'm still having some off and on contractions, which make for some pressure, but nothing steady. As excited as I am for her to get here, it would be nice if she could hold off until my mom gets here, so things, at home, will go a little smoother for the boys.
We'll see!
