I had an appointment today and it was one of those "wham bam, thank you ma'am" kind of appointments. With the boys, I was always irritated by them. I felt like they weren't spending enough time with me, but this time around, I'm grateful, since the little guys are most always accompanying us. They're usually perfect little angels, but they have their limits when they're strapped down in the stroller or a lap. Snacks usually occupy them well.
The doctor said that Sadie's heart sounded great and that I was measuring right on track. I've always measured small, so this time around, it just seems to be my normal. It looks like we'll go the rest of the pregnancy without anymore ultrasounds, unless something changes, which is exciting because the next time we see our little girl will be when she's born :)
She reminds me so much of Holden when he was in the womb. He was a little wiggle worm and so is she. Sadie will flip and flop and kick me until I roll to her prefered side at night, just like Holden did. It seems like she moves all the time, but I love it. It makes my heart so happy when I feel her move. I'm now noticing limbs move across my tummy. Since she's still so tiny, most of her movements feel very pokey. Fount was ok with whatever, just like now- he just goes with the flow and adjusts as needed. It's funny how much you can learn about your baby's personality before they're ever born.
When I go back to the doctor in a month, I'll have my glucose test to do, which takes forever. The lab is
In a week from today, we'll be on our way to TX. We're really looking foward to it. I think the boys are going to have a wonderful time. This will be our first Christmas away from home since we've had children. I think the boys will enjoy all the extra Christmases :) Santa will be stopping by The Ruse household this weekend, since he knows we're leaving town. I hope it's not too cold for him...I hear he's got some outdoor equipment to put together!
