So, as the week comes closely to an end, I am becoming more and more aware of the little tasks I need to complete before we can fly across the world. The mall (of course), Target (of course), and the endless lists I need to make (more for my sanity, than for Tim's parent's, who will be keeping the boys).
I really can't believe it's just about time for us to leave. We head out Monday morning. We'll be leaving before the boys wake up, as to make the "goodbye" a little easier on the four of us. I started talking to Holden, today, about Daddy and I going on a trip and he wasn't too sure about it, and still isn't, but when I mentioned the word "prize" (yes I'm all for giving your children bribes in certain cases), he perked up. We plan on talking to the boys everyday we're there, so hopefully we'll be able to do so.
I've been reading a little on Japanese etiquette and had to stop because I was getting overwhelmed. Ha! There's so much to think about! Anyhow, I'm excited for Tim and excited to get to be apart of this whole experience with he and his brother, Steve.
While we're there, Tim plans on blogging. If you're interested in following while we're there or reading up on his latest entries, you can go to his website We Volunteered and click on "blog/events."
