Playmates

I can't believe it. I'm actually sitting here at the computer and no one is crawling on me. Every day that passes, as Fount gets bigger, he and Holden are becoming such good playmates. It's such a special thing to watch- brotherly friendship.

Once the new baby hits the 6 month mark, Fount will be turning 2, and will begin sharing a room with Holden. I think it will be fun for them, especially while they're little. Thank goodness we were thinking ahead and bought bunkbeds. Right now they're stacked, but we'll take them apart once they start sharing a room. Apparently you have to be 6 years old before you can sleep on the top, so Holden has a few years to go- either way, he can't wait. Reminds me...I still haven't taken any pictures of Holden's big boy room or Fount's nursery. I need to do that before every thing changes!

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. I'm not as excited as I usually am. However, we will get to hear the heartbeat! You better believe I'm going to ask the HR! My OB just had a baby and she'll be out for a while, so I have to see a male OB tomorrow. Blah. But it was either him, or wait longer to get in. Hopefully I'll be able to see someone else in the practice next time. It's just a personal preference.

At 15 weeks, 3 days:
  • I am still nauseous in the mornings.
  • Holden & Fount poop still make me throw up, but I've found that a quick sniff of rubbing alcohol helps. Weird, but it works a lot.
  • I'm still pretty tired and light-headed during the day, but I'm sure that will get better soon.
  • For the most part, I'm really starting to feel better- yay!
  • I'm just dying to know who the next Ruse will be. Holden's pretty stuck on the boy & girl names, so I don't think he'll budge on any change. This time around, we'll be keeping no secrets! We'll tell the sex & name of the baby immediately after the ultrasound-ha! It was way too hard to keep Fount's name a secret for so long!

You poor thing! You always seem to have such long morning sickness with your pregnancies. I'm so sorry!! But it's wonderful that you're feeling better. Just in time to go to Japan! Thanks for all the updates. You are frequently in my prayers, friend!
