Our baby is now 6 months! Goodness gracious!

17 pounds, 4 ounces, 28 inches long
Growing like a weed...
He's still on Alimentum formula to help with his dairy/protein allergy. We call it "muscle milk." He's built like a wrestler :) a really kind, drooly wrestler with leg rolls, arm rolls, and side rolls.
We finally decided today that the poor guy has an oat allergy. It's a shame, too, because the only solid food he's been happy with is oatmeal. Tonight we made some headway with apples...
I haven't gotten around to making any of his baby food just yet and it's a good thing too because he hasn't liked any of the veggies thus far. He eats them anyway. All I have to do is make him smile really big and then I quickly slide it in. With Holden, I wasn't able to make some of the food smooth enough for him, especially at this beginning age, so this time around, instead of fretting over feeding him the real deal, I've just bought what I know doesn't  puree the easiest and this time around, I'll do a mix of store bought and homemade. Wa la!
Fount would love more than anything to get up and run around with Holden. It's frustrating to him that he can't be everywhere Holden is right now, but he's getting there. He's sitting, scooting in circles, and he rolls himself around the floor. It's funny to watch him.
He adores Holden. The way he looks at his big brother just melts my heart. Makes me anxious for the "buddy" days. Forget the sweet, chewy baby toys- Fount wants to play with Holden's big boys toys, like his cars, helicopters, and airplanes.
He's truely divine. An old soul.
Always happy. Even when he pokes out his lip, he's easily made cheerful with a smile or a silly sound.
I'm learning how tough second babies are.
First Easter morning. The pollen hit him hard. We went to the doctor the next day.

First bike ride

(Just because these thighs are delectable)

First time in the highchair

Wow... Now onto another glorious 6 months, sure to be sprinkled with teething tablets!

Love, love the pictures. Fount is just adorable. And I can't believe how big Holden looks! Poor second child, doomed to toddle after the older...until they get bigger and actually outweigh big sibling. :)
