almost here

One of my favorite things about having brick. The moss. It makes me feel so English.
I can feel it coming! It's almost here! Spring! I don't think I've ever been more ready for springtime. I'm not sure if it has to do with our massive amounts of snow and an overload of "Mickey Christmas"- yeah, that's definitely it. This weekend we went to Home Depot and bought seeds for our first garden. Tim grew up having a garden in his backyard and has memories of eating carrots right out of the ground and drinking right from the water hose. Good times. I can't wait for our boys to get to experience that. I'm not sure what all we bought to plant. I think we may have bought too much. We were really excited.

We had our first really pleasant day on Monday. I let Holden skip his nap. It was totally worth it! He dug in the mud. Played with his cars. Pretended to fly an imaginary airplane. Swore he saw his Uncle Steve. Rode his little bike. (Not really. It was more like he started at the beginning of an incline, lift up his feet and then slam into the fence. He thought it was pretty funny.) Bringing him in after four hours of play was pitiful.
He was way too busy to stop and take a picture, but I made him take one anyway. This is him telling me that he needs to go.

I'm so in love. Our boys are the most amazing thing ever. It's so fun watching them interact. Next spring will be even more fun. Watching them play in the dirt together...It's going to be great.
Until this past weekend, I've been squeezing Fount into 3-6 month jammies. I feel so bad now that he's in 6-9/6-12...He looks so much more comfortable. My bad. Wish me luck on finding play pants for the little guy. It's slim pickins in our mall. Luckily, Holden had some 6-9 month khakis he wore when he was 12 months :)

I am so excited about Spring too! Your picture of them by the tub is adorable. I love your towels and shower curtain in the background too! ;)

Thank you!
I got their bathroom stuff from Pottery Barn and I love it. The bath mat is in alligator. It's fun having a boy bathroom.
