Our week, thus far, in pics

Isn't he precious? He's like this all the time. Smiley and giggly, just like Holden was at this age. I love it. That's why, yesterday, when he kept screaming, crying, not sleeping, and barely eating, I knew there must be something bothering him. So, I called our pediatrician and made an appointment to bring him in early yesterday evening. (Probably the worst time ever to get out on the road. It took us an hour to get home, but, luckily, he slept the entire wayand it gave me an excuse to eat Taco Bell). When the doctor came in to see us, Fount started smiling and talking, which was great, but why is it that when you finally take your sick kids into the doctor, all signs of sickness vanish? Well, she checked his throat, and, sure enough, it was red. We did a strep test and it was negative, thank goodness. Today he seems much better. He finally went to sleep last night at 10pm and slept until 3am and woke up starving. He scarfed down 6 ounces, making up for yesterday. Thirty minutes later, he was back in bed and slept until 7am. He woke up cooing and smiling- no signs of a sick boy here!

He loves to sit up, but he'd rather stand more than anything. His legs are so strong and he stiffens them out if you try to sit him down.

I decided this week that Holden and I will do some type of art project every day and that I'd throw a little lesson in with it as we go along. On Monday, we made hearts for our mantel. It was a lot of fun. Holden told me he drew rockets on all of his hearts. I got the idea from The Wisteria House.

Before I had little boys, I told Tim, "I don't know what little boys like." and he said, "One of my favorite things to play with when I was little was a stick that looked like a gun." Talk about easy. One of Holden's favorites nowadays is this chair. Yes. A chair. He lays it down and sits in it somehow and pretends that he's flying an airplane.

Here's my love this morning at breakfast. He woke up with Mickey on the brain. He wanted to watch Mickey at breakfast and have both of his Mickey's sitting with him while he ate.
(Like the morning do?)

I love Thursdays! Can I hear a shout out for The Office?!
