Chicken

This morning I realized that this baby is coming pretty soon and that today I needed to get the last minute things. So, Holden and I made a Babies R Us run. We needed lotion, diaper cream, a cradle sheet, and a bouncy. We had a bouncy for Holden and loved it. We used it all the time and he loved it, but somehow, somewhere I lost it. I don't really know how I lost something so large, but I did. I'm going to go with the "someone stole it" excuse. Any way, we have a new one, so my goal today is to put it together.

After Babies R Us, Holden and I were both hungry and I had a gift card to Chick-fil-A, so I thought we'd treat ourselves. I also decided to break down and let Holden enjoy the playland. I never thought I'd be able to do it, but with warm vanilla sugar antibacterial, you can do almost any thing. I just wish you could have seen his face and heard his squeals of pure excitement, and shouts of "Oh boy!" He had the best time! He would say, "Excuse me, kids" and "How's it goin?" It was adorable. There was a mom who had to talk her child down from the top of the slide. The little girl was petrified. Once she finally made her way down, the mom actually said, "You're chicken if you can't do it." Who actually says that to their child? And who actually uses the phrase "chicken" after 1995 if they're not talking about the food? I'm pretty sure I had one of my easy to read mom faces on.
