At capacity

Well, we're home! After 2 1/2 weeks of visiting our family, we finally made it back on Tuesday. When we got home, we eagerly went to our computer to download our gazillion pictures, only to find out that our computer had zero memory left. Crap. We knew it was coming. So, for the meantime, you'll only be getting a portion or so of our trip.

The first part of our trip was split up. Tim was in Philly for a 5 day conference, so instead of Holden and I staying at home, we decided to go on to Odessa to visit Tim's parents. After a 10 hour trip, we finally made it. Holden couldn't have been any more perfect! It was our first time to Odessa since Holden was born. And he loved it. They have a huge backyard (with a water hose--Holden's favorite thing ever!) and a cat whom he rode like a horse once and didn't do any thing to him--who can beat that?

After several days in Odessa, we went to Abilene for my cousin, Laura's wedding. Tim met us there the day of the rehearsal. Holden was ecstatic to see him! From then on he called him "My dad." After the wedding, we stayed in Abilene for a week. At the end of the week we had a surprise wedding for my grandparents. It was their 50th wedding anniversary and we had them renew their vows. It was beautiful. Tim took a lovely video, but since our computer is full, it'll have to wait for another blog. After the wedding, we went back to Odessa to visit Tim's parents again. While we were there, we made a quick trip to Balmorhea and Ft. Davis.

We had such a wonderful time--especially Holden, who really enjoyed all the attention!

Here are some of Goody and Pa's pictures-

In Balmorhea swimming. Despite the chilliness of the water and mossy bottom, we had so much fun!
Balmorhea and Ft. Davis was the first trip Tim ever took me on. It was actually in this water when I knew that Tim and I were going to be together forever. Those two places will always hold a special place in my heart.

The beautiful sunrise I missed.

There will be more pictures and blogging coming!
