Holden is officially 9 months old today and what a precious little boy he is! He's turned into a real comedian. He thinks it's hilarious if we make a gag noise after we smell his feet. He's also found a real addiction for cords, outlets, and any thing remotely shiny. If he had the choice between a toy and a book, he would pick the book every time. Yesterday we bought him Brown Bear, Brown Bear and a toddlers Bible for his nighttime devotional. It's so exciting, each month that goes by, to see his personality building.
He now weighs, 17 lbs, 13 oz, and is 28 3/4 in. long.
On Sunday Holden started to sign "all done" at his meals. It was so neat to watch him communicate!
I love the curiousity that has started to develop, even more so, now that he's mobile. He'll sit forever trying to figure out how to flip the pages in a book. He pulls himself up to every thing and even pushes he's car now, as he stands hunched over. I adore seeing his independece and determination.
There are really no words to express the way a parent feels about their child and that becomes more apparent to me every day. My cup runneth over.

How fun! I can't wait to see him (and you!) again. I feel like it's been forever. (Ok, not really, but you know what I mean.)
I know!
It has been too long! I have Kate's very late birthday present to give you. See you next Monday!
