Vacay

 

 

It felt so good to go on a family vacation. Apparently I'm picky about hotels...I blame that on my mom :)and all the Best Westerns. I am so happy that we decided to go to the beach. It wasn't very far and we got to stop at Sonic, which was a plus, since we don't have one around these parts.

I don't know if you know this or not, but going to the beach with three little guys who can't swim is not all Bahama Mamas and lounging- it's busy- kinda like our usual days, except with sand and water. But it was fun :) A lot of fun. 

 

 

They had a big time. They absolutely LOVED the beach.

 

 

I thought Sadie would be afraid of the ocean, but she was the complete opposite. She and Fount have that, let's go for it side and Holden has the cautious, I'm going to play it on the safe side. Gosh, they work so well together!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sadie decided she liked having her own little pool for her feet, so somehow she got the boys to keep refilling it for her. Have I mentioned that she's something else? :)

 

 

We sure did love getting to spend so much time with Tim. We hated to see him go back to work. It's been hard to get back into the groove now that we're back to normal.

 

I think this was our last night in the hotel. They were watching a western and Holden thought a scary part was coming, so he covered both their eyes. So funny!

On our way home, we stopped at Yorktown and Holden got to participate in this presentation...I was so excited that they called on him. He raised his hand higher than anyone.

I'm already looking forward to our next family vacation. We're last minuters, so don't expect a big plan anytime soon :)
