Holden turned five years old on Sunday, the 9th. We had a small George Washington-themed birthday celebration on Saturday. I couldn't have thought of a more perfect theme myself! It was so him, being the history buff that he is :)

We are rarely able to get a family picture of us, so it's always exciting when we do. Holden couldn't have been happier!

Such a sweet day, celebrating his fifth year. It was a little hard for Mama. 4 still sounds little, but 5...that sounds so big and it is. He is :)
