I'm a little late on writing Holden's 5th birthday post, but better late than never, right?

He turned five on December the 9th. We began the morning with our traditional birthday breakfast at The Silver Diner, then we went to Mount Vernon to celebreate. I felt a million emotions that day. Mostly thankfulness. I am so thankful that Tim and I have the honor to be parents to the most amazing children. It is a joy watching them grow and become their own little person.

At 5, Holden (is):

A silly willy
Tender-hearted
Passionate at whatever he is doing.
Smart as a whip!
Wants to read
Super friendly and outgoing
Enjoys being the center of attention :)
Getting tall, but still needs those hidden buttons inside  to keep his pants up :)
Very imaginative! He tells some amazing little stories and enjoys playing pretend.
Loves dressing up and playing cowboys, indians, Davy Crockett, George Washington, Legos, "Angries"
Loves school and has a willing attitude when learning something new.
