Yesterday morning, before church, Tim and I set out on a nice run- jogging strollers and all! As soon as the kids woke up, we left them in their jammies, gave them a waffle and put them in the stroller. They thought it was the neatest thing ever. It was perfect because they were still sleepy enough to want to stay put and not want to run around. For me, the niceness wore off pretty quickly :) It was all nice until I started getting really tired and vomit-like. Tim is so sweet to go my speed, even though he's been running up to 8 miles, training for his marathon in October. Me, I'm only training for a 5K- big difference. Even though we're on different levels, it was so nice to do something healthy together. After I had to make a vomit stop, I started to think, I hope this is one of the things our children remember about growing up- that our family enjoyed being together and being healthy together.
Today, Sadie has a chiropractor appointment. She's had ear infection after ear infection and is in need of getting ear tubes put in. We have an appointment with an ENT later on this month, but wanted to try this alternative path and see if it works for her. I have no idea how we're going to keep her still...
(I have so many pictures to post...I'll try to get on that tonight!)
