Jack and Jill went up the hill,
to fetch a pail of water...
This was his little activity for the day.
Gosh I loves those toesies of his...Especially when he's clearly outgrown his sandals and they're on the wrong feet :) Hey, it's the end of summer!
Painting with water was a huge hit!
This will not be our last time doing this, for sure!
We had an appointment in Arlington this morning, so it threw our day off a little. We ended up starting school on the early side, which was nice. I think I'm going to stick with that from now on.
When the bell chimed for school to begin this morning, little Miss Sadie Jane was the first one all criss-cross applesauced on the dining room floor, all ready for morning circle time. Adorable!
Speaking of Sadie...Her ENT visit went well. After discussing her situation with ear infections with the doctor, I came to the conclusion that ear tubes are going to be the best option for us. They will be my peace of mind that her little ears aren't going to make her cry for hours and hours on end anymore. Her surgery is scheduled for the morning of Friday, September 21st.
If you're not from the south, stop reading this post now.
Seriously :)
No, seriously.
The ENT doctor said to me, "You're not from around here are you?"
Me: "No. I'm from Texas. Did my accent give me away?"
Dr: "Not at all. I knew you must have been from the south. You're so friendly and your kids are so well-mannered."
Me: :)
