Mandate

This weekend, each of the boys went on a date with Tim. They called it their "Man Date." Sadie had a double ear infection, so she stayed at home with mommy and called it an early night.

As the children get older, we are realizing more and more, just how important it is that we spend quality, uninterrupted, one on one time with each of them. All three of them are so special, so unique, and so much fun. I truly cherish the one on one moments. We've had good intentions of making these dates consistent, but for whatever reason, we just haven't gotten it together.

After this weekend, Tim and I made a point to put it on our calendars. Next month will be my dates and I can't wait! Maybe we'll get it together enough to schedule a date with each other :) Speaking of dates...Nana and Papa John will be keeping our children this weekend while Tim and I sneak away for a day and night of R&R. I'm bubbling over with excitment!

Until then, we need to rest up and get well. Holden and Sadie have been sick. Bless their hearts. For now, all is well. Let's just pray it keeps going on the up and up!
