Washington, DC

Yesterday after Tim got home from work, we ate an early dinner, and decided to go into DC for a nice walk. Tim works in Georgetown, so he gets to see part of the city everyday- mainly just The Washington Monument, as he's driving to the hospital or running in the mornings, but unless I have a doctor's appointment, I rarely make it to Washington these days.

They look further away than they really were, I promise :)

So when we do, it's always a treat to be a little touristy and be reminded of the privilege we have of living in the area of our Nation's Capitol- history at our fingertips.

We made all the stops on our 4 mile walk...
We even got to see a bunch of disrespectful morons people that can't read people dipping their feet in the fountain at The WWII Memorial. Don't get me started. Ugh!
Now onto happier times :)

There was music, not too much of a crowd...

But most of all, there was plenty of room to run around and be silly.

We had a perfect evening.

Happy Independence Day!
