My family's wheat.
On our way to Texas, we passed a lot of wheat fields and Holden would ask, "What is that?" And I would respond, "That's money." I think I remember hearing that as a child. It's so neat to think about eating something that has come from my family's hard work.
(my dad) Pops and Fount
I think I mentioned in a previous post that the kids had terrible allergies while we were in the south. They were just awful. While we were visiting my grandparents at there farm, the wind was nuts, which made the allergies, especially in Holden, flare up like crazy. You can see it in his eyes in the pictures. Bless his heart...
Mimi and the boys
I love how Fount is looking up at Tim...
It was so special for the boys to get to spend some time with our family. I love getting to see them at our farm. This place is one of my favorites.
My Grandmother would die if she knew I had posted pictures of her the day before she got her hair done and without any lipstick, but I don't care in the least and neither did the kids because I love her and these pictures are special. (Still, no one tell her).
We didn't get any pictures of their tractor driving day, so we took some pictures the day we left.
Fount driving
I'm tellin ya, it was windy!
A very special experience for the boys! I'm so happy that we were able to make the drive, even though it was a whirlwind.
I don't know what happened, but we were so busy playing and eating Rosas that we forgot to take pictures with our camera at Tim's grandfather, Did's house, but thankfully, Tim's mom, Goody, took some pictures for us! Thank you, Laura and Emily for coming early to visit with us. It was so wonderful to see you again.
