Bye Bye

Today, Tim left for Boston, where he will be teaching at a conference. I heard him speak for the first time at church, in our Sunday school class, a few weeks ago and I was so proud of him. He was so smart and so funny. I really enjoyed it. Not that I'm partial or anything :) It really was good. I wish I could have accompanied him to this conference to hear him speak in his field. Maybe someday when the kids are a bit older. Did I mention that he will be gone for 5 DAYS! Yikes! I'm trying to plan lots of little things to do with the kids while he's gone, so it'll keep us from missing him too much. Church tomorrow...Monday?...Maybe a G-free family pizza party and movie...Tuesday play date...Wednesday play date...And...Mommy's going to squeeze in a few girly movies once the kids are in bed :)

This morning, we got up early and went to the Silver Diner for a nice family breakfast before sending him off. It was so yummy! It's become our special place.

Wish us luck! Hope you all have a nice weekend!

Quotes of the day thus far:

Tim: "Holden, what kind of a car do you want when you grow up?"
Holden: "A horse."

I hope this doesn't eventually turn out to mean a Mustang...

Fount (32 months old): "Dad, you body make a wot of noises in the morning."
