Hope y'all are having a nice weekend so far! We were planning on going to one of our favorite places today, Sky Meadows, but the weather says it is expected to rain...

Thought I'd write a little post some pictures of this past week. It was a busy one!

Tim took off work on Tuesday so we could watch Discovery arrive in DC.

We tried to park at the museum...

But we were waved on, saying they were full.

We ended up going to the Costco/Target by Dulles Airport

And ended up having an incredible view of the fly over.

It was actually so close during the first of three flyovers, that I actually felt tears well up in my eyes. I think these boys may be getting to me...

We were finally able to see it upclose yesterday, with a trip to the Air and Space Museum.

Last, but most definitely not least, was one of the most special dates of my life...

The first of many with my son, Holden.

He said, "Can I take you on a date, Mother?" I couldn't say "Yes!" fast enough.

We ended up going to Red Robin, which is now, according to Holden, "Our special place." And it was the most wonderful evening. I'll never ever forget it.
