Gotta catch up!

Before I forget...here is last week's Tuesday birthday!
Today she is officially 52 weeks old! I'll post her picture soon!

I can't believe that I've yet to post pictures from my trip to Texas! Sadie and I went to visit my sister, Hailee a couple of weeks ago.

Here we are about to take off! Our plane left at 6am! Sadie just happens to not mind me waking her up early, thank goodness. She was wide-eyed and quiet, until we took off, then she slept nearly all the way to Dallas and then took another nap on the plane to Abilene. I actually could have read a book...I ended up just staring at her and enjoying the quietness.

This was Sadie's first big trip and her first plane ride. She acted like a pro- barely making a peep. She slept for most of the flights. I was blessed!

When we arrived in Dallas, our flight was cancelled and a nice man gave me his spot on the following flight. I was so grateful!

The key to a nice traveling experience when your child isn't sleeping, is to never be without snacks. It works like a charm!
Sadie met lots and lots of family when we first arrived in TX. Unfortunately, she a bit overwhelmed and didn't want to leave my side, so I didn't get many pictures. It was so nice to see everyone! (Thank you all for coming! I wish that we could have spent more time with everyone!)

The day after we arrived (our only full day there), we had a girls day. Me, my sister, my mom, and my daughter. It was so nice! We ate too much, got pedis, and went shopping. It was just perfect!

"When is my pedicure, Mommy?"
Getting her very first pedicure! I was surprised at how still she was...

Ta Da!
Didn't they turn out so cute?!

The last evening we were there, we went out to dinner with Pops and Mimi. Here is Sadie enjoying a lemon. She actually really liked it. So funny! Pops let her eat lemons and drink iced tea :)

It was so nice to see everyone and spend some quality time with my sister. It was her first time to meet Sadie. I'm so thankful that I was able to go. It was very special.

Here we are about to take off to go home.

This time we had a window seat. She loved it!

When we got home, she couldn't stop hugging and kissing on Tim and the boys. It was so sweet. She had really missed them.
