My baby

My baby is growing up. All my babies are, but Holden, in particular, I just feel it more. You see, he is four now and when he is 5...he'll start (tear) kindergarten.

Tim went to a preschool information session last night, where he took the tour and met with his possible teacher. We'll find out by May if he has been accepted. We're opting to do the 4 year old class, which is 3 mornings a week. I think he is really going to love it. He's such a kind, friendly, bright boy, plus, he is a little social butterfly! As much as I know he is going to love preschool, my heart aches a little bit. I can count on one hand the number of times I've been away from him: when I gave birth to Fount, when Tim and I went to Japan, and when I gave birth to Sadie. He seems quite excited about going to school. Here in our county, kindergarten is all day. Can you believe it? I think this next year will be a nice time to ease him into school. I just can hardly believe it's already time.
