A slew of pictures

I feel like I haven't posted in forever. Get ready- there are a ton of pictures to catch up on!
And so we begin with-

Tuesday

She's been sitting up on her own for about two weeks now.

And happy as a lark. Even without a nap. Oh how I wish the little sweetness would nap...

Sadie is 6 months old today! She has her well visit on Friday and I'm so anxious to see how much she's grown. She looks so long to me, compared to the boys, at this age. We'll see! Speaking of the boys, here they are at 6 months:

Hard to believe this is what we looked like back in 2008. It wasn't that long ago when Holdie was 6 months old...

Isn't he a doll?
Whenever I see baby pictures of him, I wish, more than anything, that I could go back and give him a big hug and thank him for being so happy and give him a big dose of Benadryl, after I threw out everything gluten. I feel so terrible that it took me so long to figure out that he had a gluten allergy. You'd think it would've been the doctor, right?
Bless those little cheeks...

I'm so behind on posting!...
Tim went to Nashville last week to teach at a conference and my mom came up from TX to help me with the kids. I think my accent is back y'all :)

Here are Nana and Holden baking pumkin cookies...
Check out his new apron!

He couldn't seem to get the flour off of his face :)

Crashed out after a few tears. (Sadie's in the separation anxiety phase).

Sunday

Thank you for coming to visit us, Nana! We had such a fun time with you!

Monday
On our way to the hikin place. Doesn't she look like she's ready to hike? Ha!

Tim took off work on Monday to spend the day with us. We decided to take the kids "hikin" at one of our favorite places- Sky Meadows. It's so pretty there!

We had a quick picnic lunch, with only a few sprinkles of rain. We had to eat our dessert on the porch of the house behind us. The view was just perfect.

I could live here.
I'd spend my evenings rocking beside Tim, holding his hand, and watching our kids play in the yard below.
That's how we spent our afternoon after the hike. It was almost like we lived there!

He whiped out his knife on the hike. Don't worry. It's pretend and pretty much gentle with it.

Can you believe this view?
Such a sweet day with the family!
