Saturday

I haven't been blogging much lately, but most everyone is napping, so I thought I'd squeeze one in and post a few pictures. Most Saturdays we're out and about, but today we've been loungey- waiting for the hurricane to hit. And I've been doing a little tough love on the little Sadie girl. She prefers to be rocked or fed to sleep. Isn't that where I should say, "My bad" and as a sleep guy's wife, I should know better, right? Well, better now then when she's two. It was a tough at naptime, but she's in her crib with bunny and it only took 45 minutes. I call that a success!

Speaking of Sadie- I saw this today:

Oh how I would love to do this to her nursery......Tim? :)

Anyway...

This was the verse we learned last week:
Our, "D" for "Daddy" verse.
This verse actually reminds me a lot of Tim. He never complains. He is such a wonderful example to our children. Thank you, Tim!

Holden loves to play "dress-up"- always has! Lately, he's been into cowboys and indians- specifically, Davy Crockett, I guess. The indian shirt he has on was Tim's when he was a little boy. Cute, hu?
He asked me what was on his shirt (pointing to the fringe) and I said, "That's leather. When it looks like that, we call it fringe" and he said, "Oh, that's neat. People speak French" and I said, "Yes, but this is called fringe" and he said, "That's what I said, frennnch" (and he sounded it our really long).
Our little indian, war paint and all!

And here is the verse we began a couple of days ago. It's a good one!

This is our "E" for Eli verse. Eli is one of Holden's buddies.

And because he's so darn cute...
This is Fount on Friday night enjoying his salad. Isn't it sweet?

Hope you all are having a nice weekend! We're camping out inside today, just waiting to see what the hurricane brings us. As of now, it's just an easy rain. We'll see as it picks up this evening!

So glad to hear the hurricane didn't mess things up too badly for you guys! And I"m sorry about the "tough love" sleeping--NEVER fun, for sure. Way to make dress up manly, Holden. :) And Fount--what a smile. Miss you guys!
