Yesterday, as you know, we experienced our very first earthquake! A 5.9. It was the weirdest feeling. It was a booming, shaking feeling that lasted around 30-45 seconds and it intensified as it went along. Holden said, "Mother dear, why is our house shaking?" He definitely wasn't sure about it, so he quickly climbed in my lap. As soon as I knew things were ok- just swinging chandeliers- I ran upstairs to check on Fount. He was sound asleep! Tim's car, which was in Georgetown, at the time, came home with a crack down the dashboard. Thank goodness everyone was safe and we had no real damage.

The weather has been incredible lately!
