Goodbye company

Tim's parents headed back to TX yesterday. It was their first time to meet Sadie and their first time to see us and the kids, since Christmas. It was so nice to see them again!

We went on "umventures"...to the park...the Air and Space Museum (of course)...

Fount conked his engine

Here are Goody and Pa with the kids

The kids had such a fun time with them and Tim and I got to squeeze some alone time- it was divine!

Here's a normal Holden "git up." It's bordering scary.

We went on Skyline Drive. It seemed to be too much for Fount. He threw up in the car. The first stop on the drive down was this hippy store where we found the only toddler shirt they sold. He liked it. We called it the "throw up shirt," naturally.

One evening Tim and I went out for coffee, pie, and a walk to our special spot at the Lincoln Memorial. When we lived in DC, we'd go to the back of them memorial, facing Arlington Cemetery and watch the sunset. We missed the sunset this time around. Coffee and pie seemed more urgent :)

Pictures of just the two of us are a rarity these days, which makes them extra special!

Holden is such the gentleman. Always bringing his mama flowers!

He's also Daddy's little helper!

Thank you for coming to visit, Goody and Pa! We sure enjoyed it!
