Every Monday, since Holden was a tiny baby, we've attended playgroup. When we first started meeting together, we would meet in the food court of the mall and eat and talk while our little ones slept or cooed away in their stroller. It was lovely. After several months of meeting, every other week, we decided, for sanity purposes, we needed to meet once a week (and sometimes more). I'm so glad we did that! Now that our little ones are growing, we started thinking that a "destination" playgroup, every now and then, would be a lot of fun, especially on the nice days. So...yesterday we met at Frying Pan Park and we all have such a wonderful time!
There are all kinds of animals on the farm.
There are tractors, open fields, to run their little boy out,
Open fields...
A great playground area- perfect for picnics!
Plus, it smells just like home-

We'll definitely be going back again soon! The boys and I had such a great time, minus a sunburn, on my part. I put sunscreen everywhere but my arms...I blame it on "mom brain." Did I mention that Sadie slept the whole time? I was so glad because it ended up being quite chilly. She spent the morning cozied up in her carseat wrapped in a blanket. She had no idea she was anywhere but home. (She's 11 weeks old today!)
We're getting excited- Tim's parents get here on Thursday!!!
I read a blog posting from Jones Design about parenting that I thought I would share.
