A little pink here...A little pink there

Thought I would take some pictures of what we have done, so far, in Sadie's room. It still looks a little confused, since Fount still occupies the room. He doesn't seem to mind all the pink changes. He just likes his bed, blankie, paci, and sound machine and as long as that stays the same, he's not a bit bothered.

Besides something hanging above the dresser, the dresser itself needs something else...A small plant? Flowers, maybe? I don't know.

This is the beautiful paper we got as a gift in Japan.
It will be framed and go above the dresser. Easy art! And so special!

My sweet friend, Aimee, gave me two of these gorgous vintage silver bowls for Sadie, that I've put on her dresser. And I love them! The bigger one holds a few of her headbands...

the smaller one holds her jewelry...

Home Goods purchase for a steal!

This was my baby doll cradle, as a little girl.
It's been painted white and adorned with my old crib bedding.

This was, also, my rocker when I was a baby.
I've hung Sadie's bedding quilt over the back, bought a cushion at Tuesday Morning and sewed some ribbon on the back to hold it in place. I still need to find a "back" pillow or make one...I want something in a soft-colored, vintage, floral fabric.
Oh- the rug is from Target! It is sooo soft! Perfect for the toesies, while you're rocking.

Pottery Barn Kids polka dot curtain.

This was a Feltman dress my Grandmother gave to me as a baby. It's hanging above the crib.
I'd love to find a worn-looking wooden plank sign with a special saying or bible verse to hang underneath the dress.

And last, but not least. What little girl doesn't need a place for all her dolls?
Above this will be a shelf that I found on sale at Michael's, with a couple of dresses hanging from it, her tea set displayed, her bible, a picture...It's just waiting to be painted!

I can't wait for our little girl to get here! Getting ready for her has been so much fun!

Her room is precious. Love little girls. I wish I had known about those cute headbands when kenz was a baby. But I'm pretty sure they didn't have them then.

Headbands have really gotten popular in the last couple of years, haven't they? I'm in love with them! Ha!

You've always had Kenzley dressed so cute!
